About Me

I’m a creative designer with over 10 years of experience across in-house, agency, and freelance roles. For seven of those, I worked collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams—partnering with marketing, development, CRM, and fellow creatives, from junior designers to design leads.

For the past four years, I’ve worked independently—self-reliant, disciplined, and driven. I’ve led projects with other creatives and guided clients toward the best design-led solutions for their business, always with a clear focus on results and return on investment.

A straight-talking multi-disciplined designer who builds bold, smart, no-BS creative for businesses who care about what they do.

I’m passionate about working with brands in sport, e-commerce, travel, nutrition, hospitality, and property—across everything from web design and branding to strategy. While I’ve built a strong foundation in these areas, I’m now transitioning towards UX and UI design. As an avid gamer and tech enthusiast, I’m fascinated by how design and technology can shape and simplify our everyday lives. I believe my skills are highly transferable and I’m ready to bring that same strategic, user-centred mindset into the world of UX/UI.

I’m a straight-talking brand strategist and web designer who builds bold, innovative, no-nonsense brands for people who genuinely care about what they do. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter design. I believe in collaboration, clarity, and strategy-first thinking.

If you’ve been burned by a designer in the past—I’m here to restore that trust.

Freelance Designer

2021 – Present

While working as a freelancer, I’ve delivered everything from simple logo designs to large-scale web projects. Managing multiple projects at once has sharpened my time management skills and taught me how to be efficient and focused under pressure. I’ve partnered with leading brands like Science in Sport and PhD Nutrition—stepping in to run their design teams when they had no in-house creatives. I helped implement new structures, handled everything from briefing to delivery, and ensured tight turnaround times were met. On other days, I’ve worked with a mix of local businesses—large and small—helping them improve their web performance through better conversion design, SEO, user experience, PPC, and CRM-focused solutions. Industries I’ve worked in include sport, motoring, property, travel, and e-commerce—proving that adaptability is one of my strengths. That said, I genuinely enjoy the challenge of stepping into new sectors and solving problems in unfamiliar spaces. I believe strong relationships are key—not just for collaboration, but for helping clients better understand the design process and how to maintain their brand beyond the project. Design shouldn’t be a mystery, and I’m here to make sure it isn’t.

3FOR Ltd

Senior Graphic Designer

2017 – 2020

When I joined 3FOR, it had been a while since I’d worked in an agency environment beyond early work experience—so the shift from in-house to agency life had to happen quickly. I adapted fast and stepped into a senior designer role, working closely with the Creative Director. I also helped train and support a junior designer, giving them the tools to take on day-to-day design tasks so I could focus on client work—primarily in the travel sector. The projects were varied and fast-paced, spanning everything from digital campaigns (CRM, PPC, and Meta advertising) to print design, including brochures, large-format exhibition stands, and marketing packs for distribution to travel operators and internal marketing teams. I had the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of travel brands—from household names like TUI, Travel Counsellors, Celebrity Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Silversea, Hurtigruten, and Ambassador Cruise Line to consortia and groups such as Advantage Travel Group, Freedom Travel Group (formerly part of Thomas Cook), and many smaller independent agents including Althams Travel, Spear Travels, and Carrick Travel. It was a role that demanded creative flexibility, a deep understanding of campaign objectives, and the ability to switch between big-brand work and hands-on support for smaller travel agencies—all of which strengthened my ability to design with both impact and strategy in mind.

Dining Club Group

Graphic Designer (Junior–Mid)

2015 – 2017

Tastecard (Dining Club Group) was my first real break into the world of digital design. When I joined, the marketing team was just eight people—which turned out to be a perfect environment to learn fast and get hands-on experience across the board. Within three months, I was promoted to Middleweight Designer. This step up meant staying on top of the fast-moving world of CRM and email marketing, sharpening my skills in Photoshop, and gradually transitioning into tools like Adobe XD and Figma. As I grew into the role, I also began mentoring junior designers—helping them develop their creative and technical skills while reporting into the design lead. I collaborated regularly with developers, marketers, and senior leadership, including the director, to deliver strong, strategic design work that supported the business’s wider goals. It was a foundational role that gave me both the technical grounding and collaborative experience that I still carry into every project today.
